**THE VALLEY'S PSYCHIC** 
I have had a wonderful gift all my life. A gift that was given to me by my Mother and her mothers mothers before her.
This gift came to the fore when I was 11.
Just getting in from school, my Father said to me, '' I have some bad news for you '' my reply was, '' dont worry I know my rabbit has died ''
With this, both my parents gave each other a knowing look, but nothing more was said.
Over the years it was not uncommon for my Mother to have people knocking the door asking if they could ' have a chat'. Although she never advertised the fact that she was clairvoyant, word got around.
After my brother passed away in 1970 at the early age of 34, my Mother would sit in her chair and tell me he had just walked in through the garden gate. She would sit for ages chatting to him.
When I married and left home, I stopped using the gift I had, mainly because I was raising a young family of 2 girls and a boy, and trying to deal with a violent husband.
Shortly after my son was born in 1977, my Father passed into spirit from a heart attack, something that most of my family have passed with. My dearly loved Father was no longer on the earth plane, but I knew he was still with me. He would make his presence known, either with the smell of his pipe, his aftershave or I would see a glimpse of him from the corner of my eye. Both Mum and I knew he was there, trying to comfort us in our grief.
My Mother passed to spirit in 1984 when I was 29, and although she had a bad heart, it was Cancer that took her from us.
She too is still with me.
When I was in my 30's I married a man from the Isle of Wight, who's family also had the gift. In 1990 we moved accross to the Island and I opened a shop on the seafront selling hand painted items and also telling 'fortunes' ( a phrase I am not fond of to be honest ) for visitors. The shop was in Shanklin. The next town was Sandown, which had a playhouse, where celebrities would tread the boards, some doing the summer season, some doing winter pantomimes. Many of them, on their day off, would pop over to see me for a consultation.
Sadly, time moved on, and so did I.
Nowadays, I have gone back to my roots in Wales. Where I live with my husband, 3 dogs, several sheep and Mammoth Donkeys.
Every year I am asked by people to travel the UK and overseas to do readings, shows and events lasting anything from 2 days to 3 weeks. I have met some very interesting people and made new friends on my life's journey so far, and I know I have still many, many more friends waiting on the path in front of me.

I agree whole heartedly, but, it is a sad fact that we all have bills to pay, and my time is precious, just as yours is, so it is my time I charge for, not my gift or knowledge.
