OUR PATHS IN LIFE
Life takes us on many paths, some we follow til the end, some we realise are going in the wrong direction so we turn back and follow another direction.
When we are born, we are like a blank sheet of paper. Anything and everything can be put on it.
We are influenced by people and things around us.
As we start to talk, our accent takes on the accent of those around us, and so is our attitude.
When we start school, we are again taught, by people ' qualified' to teach us our lessons in reading, writing and mathematics.
But we are also influenced by their personal beliefs. This is not a critisism, more of an observation.
We are also influenced by the big screen idols, nowadays children are influenced by computer games, xbox and nintendo.
What we must remeber is a childs brain is like a sponge, it just soaks up everything, good, bad, right, wrong.
And unless you are lucky enough to have teachers, who are academically qualified and are open minded, or teachers of life, then alot of who you are, and who you are to become, can be squashed, manipulated or taken away from you, instead of being nurtured into adulthood and beyond.
MY PATH
As you have read on the welcome page, my Mother was quite open minded about spiritual things, my Father tended to put up with it, although they were both very strict and victorian in my up bringing. I was the only girl with 4 older brothers who had all left home by the time i was 7 so I was like an only child.
Most of my growing up years were spent in Somerset UK living on a farm accross the road from the beach. My first 'job' was helping on the beach with pony rides through the summer months and the winter months were spent hanging around with cousins both there and here in Wales.
